2020 was a busy year for the Homeschool Review Crew. I joined the Crew over the summer in order to have the opportunity to build the Reviews page on my site. I love trying new resources so it has been fun to have access to some new products.

The Crew voted on their favorite products and vendors for the 2020 year. You can read all about the Blue Ribbon Favorites on the Crew Blog. We are all posting about our favorite vendors and products for the year. Since I came to the Review Crew later in the year, I have only done a handful of reviews for the Crew. Rather than trying to pick a few favorites out of the few reviews I’ve done, I am including them all here in this round up.

Homeschooling Resources from My Teaching Library

This was the first Crew review I did! I was really worried about making sure I didn’t miss anything that is supposed to be included in the review. Thankfully, MTL is a great product and it made writing the review a little easier.

MTL is offering my readers a twenty five percent discount on an annual Download Club subscription with the code MTL25OFF (good until January 2021). Read my review and check out this amazing resource!

Coding for Kids Annual Membership from Simply Coding

Simply Coding is so much more than just coding classes. My son started a Blog, Youtube Channel, and is learning Photoshop from Simply Coding classes. I love the variety of classes available on this site.

Math Sprint-The Mental Math Game from Byron’s Games

This game is so much fun and great way to work on mental math skills. I have never found flash cards and math drills to be very productive, but games work! It is nice to have a game ready to go and I don’t have to put a math review together myself. I can just pull the game out and my kids are willing participants.

Now is a great time to buy Math Sprint as Amazon is offering twenty percent off!

Smart Kidz Radio: Member’s On-Demand Radio Program Library

This is a good resource for wholesome children’s programming. The best part is that you don’t have to listen to several commercials in between songs like you do with normal radio programs.

Drive Thru History® Adventures: Bible Unearthed

It’s always fun to get to preview a brand new course. Bible Unearthed took Drive Thru History® and grew it up. This one is a lot different from some of the past series, but still brings excellent content and quality that one would expect from Drive Thru History®.

Homeschool Code Academy

This Python for Beginners course is extremely thorough and well-done. My twelve year old loves all things coding so it has been fun to be able to offer him some new opportunities to learn.

Name Meaning Bookmarks from CrossTimber

CrossTimber’s customer service really makes them stand out as a company. My original order was damaged in the mail and the day after I posted my review, my replacement order arrived. The package arrived totally beat up by the post office (again) but this time CrossTimber took extra measures to ensure the bookmarks didn’t get squashed a second time. I was pretty surprised that my replacements arrived unscathed after seeing the condition of the shipping envelope. Well done, CrossTimber!
